Spa Etiquette

  • Shower before entering a pool or sauna.
  • Shower after using a sauna before entering a pool.
  • Take off your shoes before entering the locker room area.
  • Do not bring outside food or drinks.
  • Keep your voices down when inside the spa.
  • Put used slippers, towels, and robes in their respective laundry baskets.
  • Do not dye hair inside.
  • Only take 1 toothbrush and/or razor per visit.
  • Place used toothbrushes, razors, and cups in the trash bin.
  • Do not stay over 15 mins at a time in a sauna as it can lead to dizziness, nausea, and fainting.

Safety Guidelines

  • Long exposure in the sauna rooms may result in nausea, dizziness and fainting (should not exceed 15 min).
  • Elderly people, pregnant women and those with health conditions should consult with a physician before entering the sauna rooms.
  • While under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medications, exposure to high temperatures may lead to serious consequences.
  • Exit cold plunge if feeling cold, tired, ill and/or if you are shivering. Extended cold water immersion can cause hypothermia.
  • People with communicable diseases and open sores are not permitted in the steam and sauna rooms.
  • Food or beverages are not permitted in the spa.
  • Children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the spa.
  • Spa treatments for guests under the age of 18 must be under the supervision and consent of a parent or a legal guardian who must be present at all times.
  • Imperial Day Spa will not be responsible for lost or stolen personal items, including property damage.
