Imperial Day Spa Policies (Inclusive for All Guests)
Thank you for choosing Imperial Day Spa. So that all our guests may have a peaceful and relaxing experience, please familiarize yourself with the following policies:
Reservations & Check-in
• Reservations: We strongly recommend making advance reservations, especially on weekends and holidays, to ensure the availability of your desired services and times.
• Check-in: We kindly request that you arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled treatment time. This allows ample time for check-in, completing necessary forms, and preparing for your service. Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment time or, unfortunately, the cancellation of your appointment.
• Age Restriction: Use of our spa facilities is permitted for guests aged 18 and over only. Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult guardian. For the safety and tranquility of other guests, please be advised that even with an accompanying guardian, minors may have restricted access to certain spa facilities such as treatment rooms, saunas, steam rooms, and swimming pools. Common areas like the lounge or lobby are accessible with a guardian.
Health & Safety
• Health Conditions: For your safety and comfort, if you are pregnant, have a heart condition, or are suffering from a contagious illness, please consult with your doctor before using the spa facilities. We kindly request that you inform our staff of any relevant health concerns or allergies upon arrival. Please review and acknowledge the consent form available at the front desk. Your use of spa services constitutes your agreement to these terms.
• Physical Disabilities: Guests with physical disabilities are required to obtain a doctor’s note and complete a consent form before receiving services. This is to ensure we provide the safest and most appropriate care. Guests with physical disabilities must be accompanied by an adult guardian or caregiver, who assumes all responsibility upon entry to the spa.
• Special Accommodations: Please inform us in advance if you require any special accommodations, such as mobility assistance or communication support. We will do our best to make your visit as comfortable as possible.
• Facility Accessibility: Our facility provides accessible paths where possible. However, please note that for safety reasons, access to certain areas, such as saunas or treatment areas, may be restricted.
Spa Etiquette
• Hygiene: For the comfort and well-being of all guests, you are required to shower before using the sauna, steam room, or swimming pool.
• Attire: For your hygiene and convenience, swimwear or underwear is not permitted in the spa’s jacuzzi (including hot and cold tubs). In other areas, you may comfortably use the provided towels or robes.
• Quiet Environment: To maintain a peaceful atmosphere, all guests are kindly requested to speak softly and be considerate of others’ need for relaxation.
• Mobile Devices & Photography: To ensure the privacy and tranquility of all our guests, mobile phones and cameras are strictly prohibited throughout the spa. Unauthorized photography or recording of staff, guests, or the facility will result in immediate termination of services and may lead to legal consequences.
• Food & Beverages: For hygiene and comfort, outside food or beverages are not permitted. A variety of beverages are available for purchase.
• Smoking: Smoking and the use of electronic cigarettes are not permitted anywhere within the building.
Spa Rights & Responsibilities
• Right to Refuse Service: Imperial Day Spa reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service and request a guest to leave, at the sole discretion of management, in the following cases:
– Appearing to be under the influence of alcohol.
– Engaging in verbal or physical abuse.
– Using sexually explicit language or displaying inappropriate sexual behavior.
– Violating spa rules or disregarding staff instructions.
– Disrupting the peace or threatening the safety, comfort, or well-being of others.
This policy is strictly enforced to ensure a peaceful, safe, and respectful environment for all guests and staff.
Payments & Refunds
• Tips: Tips are optional but greatly appreciated as a gesture of gratitude for excellent service. Tips can be paid in cash or by credit card at the front desk.
• General Refunds: No refunds are provided after entry to the spa. Services that have begun or been completed are also non-refundable. However, in extremely exceptional circumstances, such as severe medical emergencies, please consult with our staff.
• Gift Certificate & Spa Pass Usage: Purchased gift certificates and spa passes must be used within two years from the date of purchase. Expired gift certificates or passes will be voided without further notice.
• Gift Certificate Purchases: Gift certificates purchased online or in-store are non-refundable and non-cancellable. All gift certificate transactions are processed by a third-party provider, and Imperial Day Spa does not have the authority to process cancellations or refunds for associated fees. If cancellation is absolutely necessary due to exceptional circumstances, you must contact the third-party company directly for assistance. Please ask our staff for more details.
Respect & Inclusivity Imperial Day Spa welcomes all guests regardless of gender identity, race, religion, sexual orientation, or ability. Harassment or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. Guests may use facilities consistent with their gender identity as per California law. Please inquire with staff if you require privacy-related accommodations, including assistance from a caregiver of any gender.
Consent By entering our spa, you are considered to have agreed to the above policies. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Imperial Day Spa Informed Consent and Liability Waiver
Please take a moment to carefully read the following information and agree to the following.
If you have a medical condition or are experiencing any health or medical symptoms, please inform Imperial Day Spa Staff as use of Imperial Day Spa facilities or receiving massage therapy may be problematic for you. A referral from your primary health care provider may be required prior to use of Imperial Day Spa facilities or treatment being provided.
Imperial Day Spa does not condone any illicit or sexual activity on its premises. Any illicit or sexually suggestive remarks or advances will result in immediate termination of the treatment, and/or report to law enforcement. If you witness or experience any illicit or sexually suggestive activity, please immediately notify Imperial Day Spa Staff so that a report may be made to law enforcement.
After carefully reading this form, you agree to the following:
- I have been given the opportunity to ask questions about use of Imperial Day Spa facilities.
- I do not have any injuries or conditions that prevent me from using Imperial Day Spa facilities. If I have any medical conditions or concerns, I have consulted with a healthcare provider and obtained clearance to use Imperial Day Spa facilities.
- I understand the nature of the scrub service, including its exfoliating properties, and confirm that I do not have any skin conditions, injuries, or sensitivities that would make this service problematic for me. If I have any concerns, I have consulted with a healthcare provider and/or Imperial Day Spa staff.
- I agree to abide by all rules, regulations, and policies of Imperial Day Spa, including proper use of equipment, following safety guidelines, and respecting other members, staff, and patrons.
- I understand that the use of Imperial Day Spa facilities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, strain, discomfort, and the possibility of serious injury or death. I assume all risks and responsibility for any injuries or other medical incidents.
Liability Waiver and Release.
I release Imperial Day Spa (including its members, managers, employees and agents, and any other affiliated entities or individuals) from all liability for any harm that may result from or related to use of Imperial Day Spa facilities. I specifically waive any claim or right to assert any cause of action or alleged cause of action or claim or demand which has, through oversight or error intentionally or unintentionally or through a mutual mistake, been omitted from this Liability Waiver and Release. I understand that this Liability Waiver and Release is binding upon my estate, my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrations, representatives, successors and assigns. I will indemnify and hold Imperial Day Spa, its members, officers, agents, and employees, harmless from and against any and all claims, rights, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or in connection with any injuries to other persons or damage to property caused by or attributed to me in connection with my use of Imperial Day Spa facilities.
Acknowledgment
I UNDERSTAND AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT PAYMENT FOR THE ABOVE PROCEDURE(S) ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
I agree that this, including the attachments hereto, constitutes full disclosure, and that it supersedes any previous verbal or written disclosures. I certify that I have read, and fully understand, the above paragraphs and the attachments hereto, and that I have had sufficient opportunity for discussion and to ask questions. My consent is informed and voluntary and I understand that I may withdraw my consent at any time except for actions already taken.
